This RARE 12" field cel features Dick Dastardly in a series of key character poses. Dastardly is an antagonist antihero who appeared in various animated series by Hanna-Barbera Productions from 1968 onward. Dastardly's most famous appearances are as a main character in the series Wacky Races (his initial appearance) and its spin-off, Dastardly and Muttley in Their Flying Machines where he appeared as a protagonist. He is partly based on the English actor Terry-Thomas.
This cel measures 12.5" x 10.5" inches and Dastardly is hand-painted onto 12 field acetate and placed over a color card. A copyright Hanna-Barbera Productions, Inc notice is on the bottom of the cel, and is dated 1968.
Character Model Sheet Cels are considered rare and highly sought after by discerning collectors.
