Comic Mint, your best source for rare, kooky, and classic animation art, is pleased to offer this original hand-painted merchandise/consumer products cel of "Scooby Doo and Scrappy Doo". It was created from an original Jack Manning drawing at the Hanna-Barbera Studio.
This vintage cel is untrimmed and measures 10.5" x 12.5" inches and features Scappy Doo behaving badly at obedience school, with Scooby trying to make him heel! Everything is hand painted onto one single celluloid. This is NOT a sericel or limited edition.
The artwork was created in 1981 at the HANNA-BARBERA STUDIO in Hollywood, California as part of a marketing/publicity/consumer products project, and cels such as these are EXTREMELY RARE and were NEVER made available in stores, so finding a cel such as this one is virtually impossible. This vintage piece of artwork is dated 1981 in the bottom border and comes from the estate of a Hanna-Barbera employee, and is issued with a certificate of authenticity.
