This page announced a major storyline coming up in issue # 41, in which Matt decides to kill off his twin brother, Mike Murdock! The bottom panel served as the basis of the title splash to the very next issue.

Gene Colan (born 1926) is one of the most revered comic artists of the twentieth century. Gene Colan's outstanding use of light and shade is arguably without equal in comics. His work takes on a cinematic quality, due to the many great film directors Colan has been influenced by. For me, Colan is THE definitive Daredevil artist, and no-one did Dr Strange or Iron Man better either. And let's not forget his superb work on Tomb of Dracula and Howard the Duck.
