Gene Colan and John Tartaglione - Original Page 14 art to DAREDEVIL # 100 (Marvel, 1973).
This superb Gene Colan origin page features Daredevil explaining how an accident, as a young boy, left him blind and with his unique radar sense.
The artwork is in very good condition, some minor aging effects on the extreme outside edges, but the main image area is clean and bright, the art also has the original credit stats. 10.5" x 16.25".
Gene Colan (born 1926) is one of the most revered comic artists of the twentieth century. Gene Colan's outstanding use of light and shade is arguably without equal in comics. His work takes on a cinematic quality, due to the many great film directors Colan has been influenced by. For me, Colan is THE definitive Daredevil artist, and no-one did Dr Strange or Iron Man better either. And let's not forget his superb work on Tomb of Dracula and Howard the Duck.
