Here is a beautiful and near mint tin litho Fred Flintstone riding Dino the dinosaur. The toy functions smoothly and correctly. The toy measures 8 1/2" long and sits 5 1/2" high. The bottom of the toy is marked "Made In Japan...Louis Marx & Co. Hanna Barbera Productions Inc. 1962". Marx Toys manufactured this beautiful tin windup in Japan, in 1962. This toy is also know as ?Flintstone Pals on Dino (Fred)?. The toy works perfectly, when wound and activated by the on/off switch it waddles from side to side while emanating a sound unique to the dinosaur. The Flintstones still remains one of Hanna-Barbera's crowning achievements on television, and up until a few years ago, was the longest running prime-time animated series in history! |
