This is the published Original Splash Page 12 artwork from 'Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man' # 4 (Marvel, 2006) featuring KARL KESEL'S original inks over Mike Wieringo's blueline pencils, on a standard 11 x 17 inch board. The artwork is in pristine condition, no creases, tears or white-out corrections.
Stunning splash page featuring Spidey taking Mary-Jane for a joyride through the city.
Wieringo's and Kesel's vision of Spider-Man is clearly influence by that of John Romita Sr.'s. There's plenty of energy in his Spidey, but there's a softness, and a vulnerability as well that makes the character seem even more likable.
