Comic Mint is your best source for 100% genuine Simpsons Animation Artwork licensed by Twentieth Century Fox. We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this outstanding original production drawing featuring Lisa holding Snowball III, from the classic SIMPSONS episode # "I, (Annoyed Grunt)-Bot" (2004). This is a one-of-a-kind piece that was used in the making of this Simpsons episode. The drawing bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner) and is accompanied by the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity. The artwork is in pristine condition and is sold with the original Twentieth Century Fox cardboard presentation folder with clear acetate window. EPISODE SYNOPSIS: In a subplot with Lisa, Snowball II is run over by Dr. Julius Hibbert's Mercedes-Benz G500. Lisa is devastated and recites a poem tearfully at her funeral, where she is buried next to Snowball I. Snowball III dies in an aquarium; Snowball IV jumps out of a window when hearing Lisa play her saxophone). As Lisa sits outside brooding over the recently deceased cats, the Crazy Cat Lady shows up, screaming nonsense, and hurls a cat at Lisa (a black one, that is). At first Lisa tries to drive it away, fearing it will meet the same fate as her other cats, but this cat proves to be more durable when an oncoming car driven by Gil swerves and crashes into a tree (this proves good for Gil because he has insurance). Lisa elects to keep it. She names the cat Snowball V, but decides to leave the name Snowball II on the cat dish and never to mention the whole dead cat thing ever happened. In an instance of meta-humor, Principal Skinner stops by and tells Lisa that what she's doing is a "cheat". Lisa replies, "I guess you're right, Principal Tamzarian." A defeated Principal Skinner walks away, acknowledging Lisa and the new cat as "Snowball Two." Judge Snyder told him that no one will mention the name Armin Tamzarian again but Snyder had a 6 year retire.
