Comic Mint, your best source for rare, kooky, and classic animation art, is pleased to offer Bewitched fans this sensational publicity cel of Samantha and Darrin Stephens, which is a recreation of the memorable animated opening titles sequence.
The classic story of a witch who marries a mortal man and vows to live her life as a typical suburban housewife without the use of her magical powers. Bewitched was created by Sol Saks under executive director Harry Ackerman, and starred Elizabeth Montgomery as Samantha Stephens, and Dick York as Darrin Stephens.
For fans of this classic series, here is an unforgettable image of Darrin and Samantha in the kitchen, based on the animated titles sequence which was created by Hanna-Barbera Studios for Screen Gems.
Darrin and Samantha are hand-inked and hand-painted onto a single cel, and placed against the scene matching giclee print background, which appears on screen around the 00:29 mark. The characters measure 8” inches in height by 5.25” inches in width and the artwork is issued with a certificate of authenticity (as pictured).
