B.C. The First Thanksgiving Opening Titles Key Master Production Titles Cel Setup (Levitow Hanson Films, 1973).
This animated special, based on Johnny Hart's long-running newspaper comic strip of the same name, aired on NBC on November 19th, 1973. B.C. is set in prehistoric times, it features a group of cavemen and anthropomorphic animals from various geologic eras.

This wonderful production cel set-up features B.C. leaning on his club, as he poses with the original hand-lettered titles cels which can be seen in the opening frames of the main titles sequence of the film.

The artwork was created under the direction of Abe Levitow, a key animator from the Chuck Jones studio. The artwork measures 12.5" x 10.5" inches (unframed), and is accompanied with the studio presentation window matt with the studio stamp.

Story Synopsis:
To add flavor to her rock soup, the Fat Broad commands Wiley, Peter, Thor, etc. to catch a turkey. The problem is that no one knows what a turkey is, except for the turkey himself. In spite of this, the chase is on. Mostly a series of running gags, this animated special did a superb job of capturing the humor of Johnny Hart's B.C. comic strip.
